Tandoori Chai is a unique and aromatic beverage that has been gaining popularity across India. INGREDIENT:
- 2 Cups water
- 1 Cup milk
- Paawak Jaggery Powder
1 tbsp cardamon powder
- 1 tbsp Fennel seeds / Sauf
METHOD:
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add 3 diya's in boiling water and let the water boil for about 2 - 3 minutes.
- Add fennel seed / Sauf and cardamon powder and let in boil for another 3 - 4 minutes.
- Now, add milk in saucepan and let it boil for another 4 - 5 minutes.
- Next, remove the diya's one by one, and turn off the flame.
- Now, add 1 or 1 1/2 tbsp of PAAWAK JAGGERY POWDER (according to your sweet taste preferences) in a cup, and pour the prepared tea in cup.
- Stir it continually until the jaggery powder dissolved completely.
- Enjoy your Tandoori / Diya Chai with Jaggery while it's still hot. Pair it with your favorite snacks like biscuits, pakoras and samosas for a perfect tea - time experiences.
